A day before the fourth phase of a nationwide lockdown is lifted, the Ministry of Home Affairs Saturday issued fresh guidelines for the phased re-opening of all activites outside containment zones for the next month. Starting June 8 , hotels , restaurants , shopping malls , and religious places will be allowed to open. Night carfew will continue , however the time has been relaxed from 7 pm - 7 am to 9 pm - 5 am. " No separate permission/approval or e-permit will be required for such movements"

China and India move troops as border tensions escalate... India has matched the China Army's deployment in terms of troops , capacity and resources in eastern Ladakh that is witnessing four simultaneous standoffs between the two armies. Tensions between China and India over their Himalayan border have escalated, with China accused of moving thousand of troops into disputed territory and expanding a military airbase in the region. Thousands of Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops are reported to move into sensitive areas along the Eastern Ladakh Border, setting up tents, stationing vehicles, heavy machinery in what India considers to be its territory.

US deports Qaeda's Financial aide to India. Context I n April 2018, Mohammed Ibrahim Zubair alleged with charges of doing financial aid to a terrorist organization and was sentenced to 60 months in prison . The court recently ordered his deportation to India. He has been convicted in the United States for Financing activities  of the slain Yemeni preacher and al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki, has been deported to India. He has now been sent to 14 days quarantine in Amritsar.
